Ring Sizing

How Ring Sizes Work

Ring sizes are measured differently around the world. On the site we have this in UK sizes currently.

The most common systems are:

  • UK Sizes: Use letters (A–Z). For example, size L is a medium fit for most women.

  • US Sizes: Use numbers (3–13). For example, a US 6 roughly equals a UK L.

  • EU Sizes: Use numbers based on the inner circumference in millimetres (e.g. EU 52 = 52 mm around).

Each size represents either the inner diameter or inner circumference of the ring band.

Measuring your finger.

If we are able to check your ring size in person that is ideal.

If you are not local to Sally, it is best to ask a local jeweller to check your ring size. They are usually more than happy to do this.

Tips for Accurate Sizing

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s warm.

  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold — fingers shrink slightly in cooler temperatures.

  • If you’re between two sizes, we recommend choosing the slightly larger size for comfort.

  • Wider bands fit more snugly, so you might need to go half a size up. Anything 5mm and over is considered a wider band.
